Remember these delicious mini cheese cakes we shared earlier? Last year I adapted this treat for our Valentine's dinner by turning them into heart shaped cheesecakes.
To do this, I rolled up balls of tin foil and placed one outside each baking cup as in the picture below.
Then, I baked the cheese cakes normally and they came out in heart shapes.
With or without this trick to create heart shapes, these mini cheese cakes definitely make a delicious Valentine's dessert. Find the recipe for these mini cheese cakes here.
You can also use this little trick to turn regular cupcakes or muffins into heart-shaped treats. If you have a set of marbles, those would also work instead of foil balls to create the indentation for heart shapes.
